Each member of the group is integrated not only for the sound, but the feeling of loving one another is very present.

The name Mato Seco came during a trip when Marcos Eduardo (guitar) had the opportunity not only to think abould building a band, but to put together friends that know each other since they were young. Mato Seco is the strugle of the people, and they learned to play music just to play reggae and show their feelings and thoughts about the humanity.
